About Us

Our Workforce

Palliser Furniture cares as deeply about its workforce and the community as it does about its products and customers. We believe in establishing integrity in all relationships, and in a workplace culture that promotes the dignity and value of its employees.

Open hiring practices, equitable wages and benefits, and opportunities for professional and personal growth make Palliser a welcoming place of employment. Our workforce is ethnically and linguistically diverse: people from around the globe, speaking many different languages, are seen and heard throughout our facilities and offices.

A strong tradition of workplace education is founded in our commitment to help employees reach their full potential. We are honored to provide our employees with a solid grounding in literacy and essential skills. Palliser Furniture began offering classes in language and literacy in 1994 after conducting a comprehensive needs assessment and with the support of the Manitoba government. Today, we continue to partner with the province (Manitoba Labour and Immigration – Adult Language Training Branch), offering an expanded range of literacy classes and other programs to address specific needs:

  • English as a Second Language (ESL)
  • Health and Safety
  • Computer Skills
  • Retirement Planning
  • Cultural Diversity
  • Leadership Training

In addition, Palliser Furniture supports a broad mix of professional and personal training workshops and courses for both managers and employees.

Palliser Furniture is a place where people work together, try new things, and celebrate the blessing of a job well done. Our shared values and commitment to excellence goes into every piece of furniture we make.
